ORANGE CAKE RECIPE SEARCH: Mom made a from-scratch orange cake that tasted like fresh oranges, had orange zest in it .

A good recipe using a package cake mix (white or yellow) would be of interest, too, but I'm hoping to find a recipe like the original.

Looking for Seville Orange Flavoured Coffee or the receipe?

I used to buy this coffee at Rafal's in Detroit (Leading spice importer) but it closed down and none of the local specialty grocery stores sell the coffee, Amazon lists the coffee but it is unobtainable at this time. I tried adding Kroger orange essence to generic run 'o' the mill coffee but it was weak (Even after adding the entire little bottle) and it had a "Candy" like flavour that was actually slightly sweet and not like the coffee which is slightly bitter. I have my trusty Ronco dehydrator and have considered looking for tart Florida oranges to dry and cut for use in the mix. I came up empty on a Yahoo and Google search and so hopefully someone has the smarts and knowledge to replicate the coffee. I prefer to make things myself over buying them but desperation is setting in and I will break down and buy coffee if I need to.

Do you mix oranges and tomatoes in the same recipe? How?

How do you mix oranges and tomatoes (if at all)? Any favorite ingredient combinations with these two? I'm working on cold salads, and these two seem to clash a lot when mixed with other ingredients. Thanks, everyone :)

What do you normally eat for breakfast?

I'm sorry, I just can't stop talking about food. :PI was reading the latest issue of Saveur magazine last night and this morning, and it has to be one of the most interesting things I've ever had the pleasure of reading. It's all about breakfast, which is quite frankly the most important and wonderful meal of the day. The magazine had a number of different articles about what people eat for breakfast all over the world, in addition to recipes for all these magical foods I'd never heard of. :DI typically don't have much time these days between work and school, so my breakfast is usually whole wheat toast with butter and raspberry, orange or apricot preserves, maybe some sunflower butter. I almost always have tea in the morning - I think my favorite is coconut chai at the moment. If I'm really short for time I'll have my standard soy milk and mega fiber hippie cereal. :)If I do have time though, I'll make biscuits and gravy or sometimes Jace will make pancakes. I've only made french toast once with friends, but I'd like to get that going more often. I also really like to heat up different soy sausages and have those with toast and hot cereal. I also like having hot multigrain cereal with apples cut up in it, with cinnamon and honey. That will never get old.So what do you eat for breakfast? I want to know all about it!
