Hardening Play Doh Kinda Stuff

Hi There! I need some kind of stuff, that acts like Play Doh at first and after a while gets really hard without any heat or preassure ore anything applied. Since I don't exactly know what I'm looking for or how to call, I haven't been able to search anywhere... I need to use a small amount on a hinge on my headphones. The hinge looks kinda like this: |     | |     | |-T-|    |  /   \ with the T part able to rotate. The little horizontal part is kinda broken, so that the T sometimes slips out, which is kinda annyoing while listening to music ;) I don't want to glue it in, because then it won't be able to rotate anymore. So if you have any idea how to call the stuff I'm looking for, or even better, got a recipe how to do it myself, I would really appreciate it! Thank you very much!

Why is this etsy thing so hard?

I recently stumbled upon the site Etsy, Im sure you have heard of it but if not here is the link: www.etsy.com Is there some trick to selling. I feel as though most of the people who go there are creative people or fellow instructable members who can make their own things. So, what product would you want  to purchase online that is handmade? Also I just opened my account: http://www.etsy.com/shop/AlfredoSG

Can someone recommend a hard drive based HD-capable PVR?

OK, here is what I need:- Should be hard-drive based, an optical drive is not necessary.- Should record and play back at least 720p or 1080i from component or HDMI- Shall not require a subscription- Should be network-connected to play media files from one or more computers on the network- I'd really, really prefer not to use a PC for this - a standalone box would be best.Does such a beast exist? I'm going nuts trying to find something like this! It's sort of a "pick any three" sort of deal so far...

Are there other ways to harden earth clays? Answered

I do not have access to a kiln nor do i have the money to buy one. Are there other ways to harden the clay that will make it as hard or nearly as hard as a kiln would? I thought air drying would make it resonably hard, but nope it shatters WAY TOO easily. EDIT: I should have noted that I live in the heart of LA in an apartment so I can't really make a kiln, but it seeming like i need to kiln it or buy some oven clay(I forogt the name)

Adhesive/fill material needed

I need an adhesive or fill material with some special properties. It should be a moderately viscous liquid that sets up into something very flexible, jellylike would be ideal. It should be applicable in very small quantities. It should flow before curing and be self leveling unlike silicone adhesive. Tensile strength is relatively unimportant. It should not adhere to two part tin based casting silicone. An analogy that comes to mind is E6000 adhesive but it's viscosity is a bit too low and it sets up way too hard. UV cured resin like Loon UV Knot Sense (great stuff that I learned about here) comes close and has the right viscosity also but also cures too hard. If you know of anything, I've got a project on hold until I find something and would greatly appreciate advice.

Spiral Clocks tell time with ball

These clocks tell the time by the position of a ball that slowly spirals in to the center and then gets dropped back down to start all over again. Pretty clever. Also pretty hard to read, but it's certainly a conversation piece and a good inspiration for some other projects. Link
