Trouble with multiple entries in a contest?

So I wanted to enter two projects into the current Metal contest.  I entered one without a problem, but my second instructable for whatever reason can't be entered.  It is eligible for contest entries as far as I know.  When I'm on the page it will allow me to submit in other contests, just not the metal contest.  I checked the official rules and under section B, paragraph 3 the rules state that multiple entries are allowed, though only one entrant can win a prize.  So then, why can't I enter another recent instructable?

Troubles making a BEAM bot (Miller engine)

Hey everybody! I'm just getting involved with the wonderful BEAM bots. The problem is that here in Germany I don't get some of the transistors and I have to find alternatives. Instead of the 2N3904 I use the BC546, for the 2N3906 I use the BC556 and for the MN1381 I use the TC-54. I'm attaching the datasheets - did I get it right that I only have to "turn the BC556 around" so the pins fit? However, I don't get the Miller engine working! As a solar cell I use a Panasonic BP-376634 (3,4V - 30mA) http://shop.aaaa-electronic.de/epages/15164820.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15164820/Products/50007-002 As capacitors I used different ones. The motor is a tiny cell-phone vibrating motor - I guess one of the tiniest. As a resistor I'm using a 2.2K. All in all I tried to follow these diagrams: http://www.solarbotics.net/library/circuits/se_t1_1381.html I also uploaded some photos - maybe you can make out mistakes I made... Hoping for your help! Sebastian

My chisel has a chink in the blade, how do I get it out? Answered

I was wood carving one day to find that my flex cut chisel had a large, crescent shaped chink right out of the blade, it is about 1 centimeter deep and is a real nuisance, I was thinking about going to my local woodcraft store to ask a pro how to do it, but I thought that before I drove out there, I should ask on here, so anyone that knows what they're doing, can they give me an Instructable or tell me how to get it out? I want to start carving again ASAP! Thanks Future Filmaker

On a manual transmission will the clutch slip if there is not enough oil in it? Or at least act like its slipping?

I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima with a manual transmission and has 120,000 miles. Within the past few weeks, I have noticed that I am able to get into all gears while driving but when I step on the gas the rpms go higher than normal- then come back down. Just wondering if this could be a symptom of not enough gear oil in the transmission?

I'm having trouble finding the right material for a full head mask. suggestions? Answered

I get bored, often. And to pass that time i make goggles and masks, until now ive used leather, denim, hard plastic, metal, paper mache, and even clay. I've been inspired by this game, Gotham City Imposters, to make a "homemade" version of batmans cowl. I'd like to make it out of a material that i guess would have to stretch, cuz i just want to be able to slip it on and off, you see, all of my full head masks ive made so far have either had belts or laces in the back that id have to do up and undo everytime i took it on and off. So my question for this project and future ones is... what the lump should i use (as far as materials) that would be tight (not too tight) and be easy to slip on and off my head, without breaking or tearing?

How many steps are too many? Having trouble toning down my picture count.

I don't want to start up another "I'm not a fan of the picture layout" thread. That's why I posted this here, not in another section of the forums since my instructibles are crafty or arty and those are the types that tend to have more pictures, from what I've seen. Instead I'm trying to work within the system. Motivated to get back into it by some of the interest I've received  still getting subscribers, which warms my wittle heart. To that end, my praying mantis is finished, just need to photograph the final result. The instructions were all written just before the site switched over the picture layout though, and the process seems to require lots of pictures, I can't seem to remove enough pictures from the 'ible to make it fit with a few steps with only a few pictures in each. Wondering what peoples opinions are on the length and depth of instruction in an instructible are? Wondering if you'd rather 10 to 15 pictures in one step, with a couple paragraphs of instructions below that you'd have to scroll up and down repeatedly for, going in and out of pictures to see the picture tags so you understand what is being written, etc...OR...would you prefer to go through 3 to 5 times the number of steps with only a couple pics per page, with a single paragraph of text instructions BUT where you'd have to go through multiple steps (multiple pages) to see how a fairly simple part of the process is done? I figure I'd need to reduce the number of pictures posted in each step. Because looking at my wire octopus 'ible, it's a really hard read these days. My thoughts are 3 to 6 pictures per step, max. That leaves me with what will end up as a 30+ step 'ible for my current praying mantis 'ible. So... I'm tempted to just post up a few work in progress shots with a decent text explanation and leave it to the reader to picture the majority of it in their minds.

Plants slowly dying in an odd way, any gardeners out there who can tell me why? Answered

I have an aerogarden with some strawberries.  They started just fine but they recently ran into some trouble.  The leaves started yellowing.  I did a little research and it seemed to match the symptoms for magnesium deficiency.  I switched nutrient mixes, thinking that might help, but it seems like it isn't getting any worse or better.  It's looked like this for about a month, not much growth, not much die off.
