Cardboard cutters rules pencils and pens

STEP 2: 2 Mark

after cutting 2 pieces of the card board with the intern size of the drawer... mark the middle

STEP 3: 3 Draw to Cut

STEP 4: 4 Assembling

STEP 5: Voila

This is a great idea for people who don't want to pay money for these things (as they are expensive!) I've been making these for years...a nice addendum is to then use some rubber cement and wallpaper (I like the kind that looks like rattan) to cover the cardboard to make it look nice--plus, no raw or rough edges to snag delicates. Just a bit of insight for anyone who gets frustrated when the thing starts to shift and squirm a bit (especially if you haven't measured correctly to the mm). Use some hot glue along the inside corners to bind the 90 degree angles. This will make these suckers so stable they wouldn't bend in a hurricane (okay, that's a bit melodramatic, but you know what I mean). If you are covering with wallpaper, cover the pieces with wallpaper before you fit the two pieces together, then hot-glue the inner corners at the last. Thanks for sharing! Great job.
