today, i will teach you, young grasshopper, how to make a fire wallet.
(imagine the look on the face of that cashier at wallmart)
this works as a cool prank, and if done right, can create 12 in. flames! (outch!)

WARNING: THIS USES REAL FIRE SO BE CAREFUL!
(AND IT DOES NOT BURN YOUR MONEY!)

Step 1: Supplys

duck tape. (yay)
gorilla tape. (oooooooo, big)
small scissors. (for cutting)
exacto knife. (the god of all project utensils)
ruler. (measuring, *yawn*)
and that's i... oh wait I'm forgetting something...
sock. (with hole in sole, hopefully, because you will be cutting it up)
foil. (to contain fire, we must be slightly safe, shall we?)
aaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnddddddd.............BUMBUMBUMBUM
LIGHTER FLUID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. (can i get a MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA from all you?)
and a mini lighter. (must be mini, to hide in wallet. you can get them at gas stations)
(or better than a mini lighter, get a lighter flint-wheel)

Step 2: Creat the Wallet

you will need: four 7.5 in. strips.
1.take one piece of tape, put it on its back, with sticky side up, and put another attached to it. (put one on top of the other)
2.take the new double-sided piece and line it's side up to a ruler, then take the third piece in your hand and attach it to the piece you just lined up 3 and 1/4 inches down.
3.take the fourth piece and put it on top of the sticky side of the 3rd piece.
you are finished with a side of the wallet!
NOW MAKE ANOTHER!

Step 3: Make the Actual Wallet by Attaching It All!

have you made two of the last piece? if>no - goto (step2) if>yes - goto (continue:)

continue: if you have made two, then i will show you how to attach them into a wallet.
you will need: one 7.5 in. strip, and two 3 1/4in. strips.
1.lay the two side pieces that you made in the last step,(I'll call them AB from now on)next to each other.
2.then attach them in the middle with the 7.5 in. strip. (oop, i lied *haha* you will need two 7.5in. strips.)
3.take the other *snigger* 7.5in. strip and put it on the other side.
fold in half.
and now you finished that part. if>happy - goto (sides:)

sides: now you will use the 4(did i say 2 before?) 3 1/4in. strips.
1.take one small strip and put it on the side of the folded AB piece.
2.now tape other side.
3.finally tape the inside-sides so there is no sticky stuff.
4.fold it all in half.
you are FINISHED with the wallet part,but that's not exciting... NOW TO THE FIRE PART!!!!!!!

Step 4: It's Time to Make Part of the Fire Part!!! ironically

before i tell you what you will need, you will need to measure the fold in your wallet (from the fold in the middle to the side.) i will call this measurement (<>) in the parts list. *normally the measurement is 3 3/4in.*
you will need: four (<>) *3 3/4in.* pieces of gorilla tape, a sock with a hole in it, four 3.5 in squares of foil, four (<>) *3 3/4in* strips of duct tape, and one long extra strip of duct tape.
1. tape two of the four strips of gorilla tape onto the right hand side of the fold in the wallet.
2.take the four pieces of duct tape and make a smaller version of one side of the wallet. (just like step 2, with only one.)
3. cover one side with gorilla tape.
4. attach one side of that to the middle fold in the wallet. (with two 3in. pieces of duct tape.)
5. tape it on the gorilla tape side with one of the 3in. strips.
6. tape it on the duct tape side with the other 3in. piece.
7.it should then look like the 13th picture.
finished!

Step 5: Now You Can Make the Actual Fire Part.

you will need: four 2 3/4in. squares of foil, the ankle part of a sock cut into two 2 2/4in. by 1in. rectangles, and lots of duct tape.

1. take two of the four foil squares and cut a 2in. by 6/8in. rectangular hole in them. (i will call the squares with holes in them B from now on, and squares without a hole will be called A)
2. take a A square and tape it to the right hand side of the fold in the wallet.
3. then take a piece of sock and tape it close the top of the A square.
4. get all the edges, make sure of that.
5.now tape the B square on top of the part you just made.
6.MAKE SURE TO SEAL EVERY PART OF THE EDGE.
7. do the same thing to the gorilla tape side of the middle flippy part you made in step 4.
8. now tape the mini lighter to the bottom right of the right hand side of the wallet.
9. to fill the wallet, pour lighter fluid onto both socks.
you are finished!

Step 6: You Are Finished!!!

now you have completed your fire wallet! congrats!

now, run along and enjoy some bacon....WAIT i forgot to tell you how to do it.
take the wallet, folded in half, in your hands. now as you open it(with the flippy side on the fire part) strike the mini lighter, igniting the lighter fluid in the socks.
