Introduction: R/C Aircraft Launcher

you will need
a piece of wood 1700x600mm in size
plywood for the ribbing 1700mm long and extra for other bits
the facility to build the launcher
the tools needed

Step 1: Step 1

ensure that your piece of wood is 1700x600mm in size then cut a square hole in the plank 200x50mm 50mm from the edge of the board
this is for the surgical tubing connected to the shuttle to go into.

Step 2: Step 2

cut 2 pieces of plywood ribbing the same length as the board. Stick the ribbing to the board with 100mm between them running down the center of the board.

Step 3:

At this point we will create the shuttle. this is a housing for the front wheel with the measurements of 50x100x 40mm. Screw all the plywood together to make this.

Step 4:

Ensuring that you have the surgical tubing, connect the tubing to the shuttle and the board with a screw and a washer.

Step 5:

At this point, you need to make legs for the launcher so that it sits at the correct angle which is 15 degrees. make these however you want as long as they are 600mm long at the front.

Step 6:

Adjustments to this design could be made. one adjustment would be to adjust the ribbing by putting railings on top of the ribbing so that the shuttle does not fly out of the ribbing.
