Introduction: No More Excuses, Become, and Stay, Well and Healthy Exercising Without Get Off Bed.
Now there is no excuse to not keep your well being and keep your self healthy and in shape.
Exercise from bed is really easy with this project, this is not only for upper body but also for lower.Everybody needs exercise not matter where you do it but some people dont have the commodities of a gym and some cant go to the gym. Disabled or people that is incapacitated to walk or to move from bed can do exercises with out the hazel of leaving home, now you dont even have to leave you bed.
Step 1: MATERIALS
MATERIALS:
Bed
Piece of wood 2x4 about 5' long
Elastic bands (bought)
Boungee cords (made home), and 2 pvc pipes 5"
Duct tape
A TOOL FREE PROJECT
Step 2: Boungee Cord
Add a pbc pipe on each end of the bungee cord
secure it with the duct tape.
in the case you bungee cord does not have a hook just pass it through the inside of the pipe an tie it on a loop.
Step 3: PIECE OF WOOD IN and LISTO PRESTO!
Put the the piece of woord in betwwen the matress and the base of the bed. All the way in leave around 12 to 6 inches outside. Wrap around the bands or cord and start working out.
if you need more resistance just wrap it around the wood once or twice.

How many times did you remember that you were supposed to work out when you're already in your warm, cozy bed and don't really want to get out of it? I do it every day and by such, this project is pretty great.

Great idea though do those bungees provide much in the way of resistance, I know most of them look the same but some are stronger than others... This seems like a great space saving way of keeping fit.

thanks,Yeah there is many types of cords with different resistance and length you should find the ones that match you fitness level, the ones on the instrutable have three bands that can be removed according to your needs

Aye, just meant that you pretty much just have to test them in store, since they all look the same, the skinny bike rack ones aside.
