OK. I get it that the yellow stuff is some kind of felt or similar, but what is the beige stuff? How comes it gets some kind of conductive pads on it, or is that how it's made?
Right, I get it now. That's conductive fabric, and it's been cut on a laser machine - that's the quick scene I originally thought was something stuck on a car window to get developed in sunlight!
