Introduction: Guitar Sound Effects

One day i searched on Youtube for Herman Li guitar effects and wondered if i could do some of the sounds without a whammy bar. I finally figured out a few of them (and another one not in Herman's video). So, i now tell you how to do these cool effects!
(Note: i will try to get pictures tomorrow.)

Step 1: Pacman Noise

in the Herman Li video, Herman unscrewed his whammy bar, palm muted all his strings, and lightly dragged the bar over his middle pickup. i dont have a whammy bar or a middle pickup so i found an allen wrench (most metal objects will work; i could do it with the plug from a pair of headphones) and drag it over where your middle pickup is or where it would be. for the ghost sound, lay bar shaped metal object over strings and drag across while wiggling. i couldnt find my allen wrench in the pic so i just picked up my cable.

Step 2: Racecar Noise

i figured out how to do this but the inspiration (yet again) came from the Herman Li video. use an allen wrench or something similar and press down on the 6th/low e string just a bit after the last fret(i say that because some guitars have more or less frets than others) and press down and wiggle while slowly dragging towards pickup(s).vroom vroom! not as far as in the pic, i just showed what you need to do in the pics.

Step 3: Chewbacca Noise

i found this at random. some guy fretted the 13th fret on the 5th/a string and 10th fret on the 4th/d string , strummed both and pressed his whammy bar down all the way. i do it by bending the 2 strings away from each other. this way, it doesnt do it immediately, but you'll get the sound. bend really far apart.

Step 4: Divebomb Noise

done by fretting note, lifting whammy bar all the way, strumming and slowly letting the whammy bar down. or, dont pull up on whammy bar, and push it down slowly after strumming. coolest notes around 3-5th frets. or, for people with no whammy bar, bend string up, strum, let down slowly.
