Introduction: Hen and Nest Candy Dish
I made this candy dish for my mother who is in a nursing home. The hen was made with a single crochet, and the nest was made using a loop stitch. To help keep it's shape, I used the top of a 2 liter soda bottle for the hen, and used the bottom of a 2 liter soda bottle for the nest.
I made this last year. Since then, I have wanted to make another one, but cannot find the pattern, and not remember where I got it from the first time!
Has anyone ever seen this pattern before??

Back in Feb, you asked for the pattern for the crocheted setting hen candy dish, and I couldn't find it. Well I found it while looking for another pattern!! If you will send me your email address, I would love to send the pattern to you! I put the hen in the state fair and won 4th place. Not that great, but I was thrilled to have placed at all!!
