    I discovered recently that this style of knife is illegal in the UK, unless you have only one arm.

    If your a uk resident it's ok to have a trainer balisong as long as you don't carry it outside this looks exactly like a real blade but has a totally dull edge that won't cut, used for the purpose of manipulation an freestyle techniques.
    As is the one in the video. Alot of people have also been known to make either paper or wooden versions

    balisong style blades are usually illegal in most "developed country's". In the US this blade can be illegal from state to state. In NH it wouls be legal as long as both sides aren't sharpened.

    IN california its okay to have any length as long as its in a home. but if you have it in the streets the blade cant be longer than 2 inches
