How to Make Leather Chaps

Step 1: Step 1 Measureing

measure how long and how big around your legs are do this twice once for each leg then cut the dementions out of your leather

Step 2: Step 2 Punching Holes

punch holes 2 inches a part all the way down when you do this make sure the leather is folded hot dog style so the holes are in the same spot on each side do this on your other peace make sure you put the same amount of holes on each peace then fold each peace in half and puch a hole in the top in fold it and run some lace through one hole tie it close to the hole

Step 3: Step 3 Lacing and Wearing

take one chap put your leg on the leather fold it around your leg if it is your left leg make sure the lace from step 2 is on your right side cut some of the same lace but a different peace to about 83 inches do this twice start lacing left to right it might take a while when your done tie it at the end do this on the other leg to next tie your loop from earlier to your belt loop also do that to your other leg too now your awesome chaps are complete
