just power shift. clutches were made for starting and stopping, not for switching gears. on jumps or shifting after coming out of a tight corner, you will need to pull the clutch. but for just shifting while riding, you do not need to use the clutch. contrary to popular believe, it is fine for the transmission, they were made for it
Knowing this stuff is very important on time i jumped on a dirt bike (right after swimming and without knowing how to drive) accidentally put it in full gear and floored it. I hit two cinder blocks and a rock wall. Got around 30 stitches in one leg 5 in the other, know sometimes while crouching my legs get cramped and hurt for a while after.

yea. the key to shifting gears while riding is just to hold the clutch while riding and just use the gear shifter to switch gears.
