Introduction: IHeartRadio Music Festival Face Painting

About: I am a conceptual artist, and my DIY projects are mostly inspired by pop culture (movies, music, sports, TV). I mostly specialize in painting, graphic design, drawing, digital photography, performance art, and…

As many of you recognize, that is the iHeartRadio logo that I have painted on my face! This is to honor this year's iHeartRadio Music Festival coming up in September 18 and 19 at the MGM Grand Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada. Here I will show you the videos on how to create them for yourself, even if you're just getting started in face painting. I made this especially for the beginner.

This was inspired by Payge's 5 Easy Music Festival Looks, in which I decided to take to another level for people to get a jumpstart in easy face painting. Thanks a lot!!

Step 1: IHeartRadio Music Festival Mask

For the first design, I am demonstrating the no-muss, no fuss way to really get started in face painting, just by painting a simple mask. You can see the video here, or go to this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e8G0wYJemPg to watch the video on YouTube!

Colors Used

Step 2: IHeartRadio Music Festival Logo Cheek Art

Here is another design that you can also do for the festival. Even if you don't want to do the mask, like the previous step, you can don a small cheek art of the actual logo (like you see the image above), and still get into the spirit! I am using my hand as my canvas to show you how it's done!

Now paint on and enjoy the music!
