Introduction: IPhone 6s Costume

About: We're Mother Daughter Projects, sharing our DIY adventures as we learn to maintain, improve, decorate, and use tech in our homes.

My nephew Tyler requested I be an iPhone for Halloween so I couldn’t disappoint him!

Step 1: I Started With a Piece of Foam Board. I Measured How Big I Wanted the IPhone to Be on It.

Step 2: I Went to My Computer and Used Graphic Design Software to Make the Phone.

With a few searches, I found some templates online. I found the iPhone 6s shell, then started searching for the apps. I got them in place and decided to use a pic of my nephews and niece as my wallpaper.

Step 3: I Found a Tile Software in the Mac App Store That Would Print This on Multiple Pieces of Paper So It Would Fit Together Into the Larger Image.

Step 4: I Printed the Image Out on Photo Paper, Cut Out the Foam Board to Match the Paper IPhone, and Used Spray Adhesive to Attach the Paper to the Foam Board.

Step 5: I Had an Old Name Tag That I Glued to the Back of the Board to Be Able to Wear the Phone Around My Neck.

The white name on the left is what I ended up using.

Step 6: Overall the Costume Was a Big Hit With My Nephews!

They kept wanting to wear the costume and would pretend to be Siri.
