IPod Nano Dock (7th Genertion)
Intro: IPod Nano Dock (7th Genertion)
Whenever I don't use my iPod or it is not in my pocket, it rests on my table. It is not so practical because it can be easly sratched or can fall off. So I made a little stand for it which is also a charging dock. It is made from diferrent thickness (4, 6.5, 9mm) plywood pices and a lighning-USB cable. The only cost was the cable, the wood was from earlier projects.
The tools I used:
-Saw
-Rasp
-Utility knife
-wood glue
-Sandpaper
Now it keeps my nano safe on the table and looks great with this minimal design.

Well, if you look at the pictures you can see it is a fairly easy to make project. You just need few pieces of wood, cut them in pieces and glue them together while leaving some space for the connector and the cable. Since it is only 3 pieces, you can easily customize for any other ipod or smartphone. If you have questions feel free to ask.

I might be getting a 7g ipod for free to do a review on.
