Watch my daughter KK make it! It's really that easy!! 1-Minute Microwave Pizza Video

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 pepperoni slices (or other cooked toppings, optional)
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 3 tbs milk
  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 1/2 tbs marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbs shredded mozzarella cheese

Step 1: Chop the Pepperoni

If your choosing to use pepperoni, your going to want to dice it into pieces. You can also cut up bits of sausage, or other cooked vegetables as you desire.

Step 2: Make the "Dough"

Add the flour, baking powder and salt into a small dish or mug and mix. Add the milk and oil and mix until it forms a thick pancake type batter (it will have clumps, its OK!).

Step 3: Add the Toppings

Put your marinara on top of the dough batter and gently spread it all over with the back of a spoon. Sprinkle on the cheese and optional toppings.

Step 4: "Bake" and EAT!

Microwave your pizza for 1 minute to 1 1/2 minutes depending on your microwave. Mine cooked perfectly in 1 minute, 10 seconds. Let it cool for a minute or two and ENJOY!!!

Update: I made it and it tasted acidic in my mouth. All the baking soda was on top and it was seriously terrible.

    Not going to try again

    :(

    Oh well

Did you mix the dry ingredients before adding the wet? It shouldn't settle at the top like that at all. I make it often and have yet to experience that. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you, it's really tasty when it comes out right!

I made this last week for a quick snack and it was the perfect filler. Tasted just like pizza with a biscuit-type bottom which was perfect to eat. I'll be making it again soon!!!
