About: Nowadays attempting creating small apps to dive into the world of programming and Software Development

A mechanical ring that can be used for playing or you can simply wear it.

It is a small challenge to fold this ring and the folds are tiny so that you could have maybe troubles.
Nevertheless you can increase the printsize (over 100%) of the cp to ease modelling.

Step 1: What You Need:

  • A toothstick for the tiny folds
  • Printed CP
  • Glue (stick)
blue are mountain folds, the red ones valley folds

Step 2:

At first cut along the black lines (PDF), then prefold the pattern.

Step 3: Folding Steps

Form the prefolded paper to a ring, the glueing area is shown as dotted marks.
Fold and tuck the frame. Then repeat the steps for the another side.



 

Step 4: Final Steps

At last you fold the spring structure and repeat the pleats inside the frames with a toothstick.
