1984 Toyota Pickup Bumper

About: Hi I'm crewe. I love learning about engines and computers. I build lots of things from metal. Welding is my favorite. Rc cars are my hobby.

Step 1:

Take your idea to some paper board. This is really easy to work with because if you mess up then it's an easy repair.

Step 2:

Now it's all just plasma cutting and welding. I used a M.I.G welder. Then after a little cutting I just had to grind the welds down

Step 3:

Now see how it looks. I put a winch in my bumper. So I had to set it on there and measure for the winch hole.

Step 4:

Then paint it the desired color and bang you have yourself a good looking bumper.

I need a welder and metal working tools, I've got an 87 toyota pickup that decided it didn't like ice and wanted to meet a wall more, now I need a better bumper, and hood.. but it runs.

I like the cardboard mock-up. I will do that when I get to building some bumpers for a 1993 4Runner
