Introduction: 3 Easy Hair Buns

Hair buns are a classic and elegant style, and best of all, they're very easy to do. This Instructable includes 3 easy hair buns. Each Instructable step will list step-by-step instructions on how to achieve each bun.

Step 1: Bun #1 - the Doughnut Bun

What you'll need:

Step 1) Brush or comb hair into a ponytail (at your preferred height). Once the hair is in a ponytail, apply a dime sized amount of product evenly onto the hair, for a smooth and sleek, frizz-less look.

Step 2) Pull the ponytail through the bun helper. Pull the bun helper up towards the ends of the ponytail, and leave out about 4-5 inches of hair.

Step 3) Spread the hair over the bun helper as evenly as possible, and begin tucking it under. Continue tucking and rolling the rest of the ponytail.

Step 4) Secure with bobby pins.

Finished Look - That's it for the doughnut bun!

Step 2: Bun #2 - Top Knot Bun

What you'll need:

  • (1) Hair Tie
  • Bobby Pins
  • Brush and/or Comb
  • John Frieda Finishing Creme

Step 1) Brush/comb hair into a ponytail at your preferred height.

Step 2) Twist the ponytail, and wrap into a bun ONLY half of the way.

Step 3) Pull the ponytail by the ends tightly through the loop/opening.

Step 4) Tuck the remaining hair and secure with bobby pins.

Finished Look - Voilá! A beautiful, super easy top-knot bun!

Step 3: Bun #3 - Messy Up-do Bun

What you'll need:

Step 1) Section the hair across the head from ear to ear; tie up just the hair behind the ear into a ponytail.

Step 2) Wrap the ponytail into a bun.

Step 3) Curl the hair in the front that's left out.

Step 4) Take random pieces of hair (that's been curled) and cross it over the bun from the opposite side.

Repeat until all of the hair from the front has been tucked away, and secured with bobby pins.
