Have you seen Despicable Me or the new Minions movie? No? Go now!

These cute and charismatic characters called Minions will make you laugh a lot, why not make them in a 3D Bead Sprite version?!

You're watching a geeky and fun DIY/How to/Tutorial video, on how to make the Minion of your dreams, or at least a 3D version of one. This will make a great decoration in your house or a wonderful gift for a friend!

Materials/Tools Used:

  • Perler Beads ( Yellow, 2 different Blues, Grey, Black, Brown)
  • Masking Tape
  • Round Pegboard
  • Iron
  • Iron paper
  • Hot Glue

Why masking tape?

The reason behind this method I use in all my perler/hama beads creations is to be able to keep your pegboards alive, since the heat from the ironing process can melt, bend/warm and ruin your creation. Also I have learned that if you poke holes on your masking tape it will help the beads to breath better and not form holes :)
