This stuff takes like 4 minutes, and when it comes out of the microwave, tastes tender and great. Yum.

Step 1: Ingredients and Stuffs

Ingredients:
5-9 pieces of Broccoli
Garlic Powder
Salt
Pepper
Minced onions (optional)
Butter (optional)
Water

Stuff:
Microwave
Microwavable Container
Plate

Step 2: Season the Broccoli

Wash the Broccoli , then place in the container and put some Garlic Powder and salt on. The pour in some water.

Step 3: Close It

Take the lid of the container, and place it on the container. Make sure it is skewed so that there is a small gap.

Step 4: NUKE IT!

Carefully place the container in the microwave, close the door, and nuke it for about 3:00 minutes.

Step 5: Steam..... OW!

After the microwave does its job, take out the container. Place it next to the plate, and open the lid. Jump back and marvel at the huge cloud of steam! YAY!

Pour the Broccoli on the plate.

Step 6: Re-Season the Broccoli

Clump the Broccoli together on the plate and sprinkle More salt, more Garlic Powder, Pepper, and maybe some Onions and Butter.

Step 7: Eat.

Get a fork, stab the Broccoli, lift it to your mouth, open your mouth, place on tongue, close mouth, grind teeth together, swallow, repeat.

I just read on Google News that the word "Yummy" will no longer be used unless you are trying to convince a small child to eat Broccoli. Instead, for use by adults, the word "delicious" will be used. LOL. (for real though, great instructional, great humor) Thanks ! (the word Yummy just makes me cringe though).

Nice one! I've been doing the same thing for a long time but much simpler - wash, cut off stems, add 1-2 tbsp butter, nuke, eat.

Normally I steam my broccoli for about eight minutes in a steamer but I will try this method tonight. Also, I never thought about seasoning, I'll try that too! Sometimes I sprinkle some grated cheese over the still hot broccoli, very nice!
