5-in-1 Chocolate Chip Cookies! Smores, Sweet & Salty, Cookies 'n Cream & Turtles!

Introduction: 5-in-1 Chocolate Chip Cookies! Smores, Sweet & Salty, Cookies 'n Cream & Turtles!

About: Hi! My name is Natalie! I have an awesome husband that lets me be a Play-at-home mom of 3! We homeschool and do projects daily! Check out my blog Doodlecraft for more awesomeness!

Did you ever want a great variety of cookies without all the work of making a bunch of different cookies?

Here's an easy 5-in-1 Recipe for Gourmet Chocolate Chip Cookies!
Make Sweet & Salty, Cookies 'n' Cream, Smore's and Turtles!

Look like the Hostess with the Mostess!

Just as easy as making 1 batch of Cookies!

Step 1: The BASIC Recipe!

Here's the basic recipe.  Start by making this:
(this is essentially a double batch...it will yield about 70-75 cookies...depending on variety)

You will bake 375* F for 8-10 minutes...so go ahead and preheat the oven!

3 sticks of Butter (1 1/2 Cups)
1 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup granulated Sugar
Mix and cream

Then add:
3 eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
mix together

Then add:
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
2 Cups Oats
4 Cups Flour
Mix together

Step 2: Adding Chocolate Chips!

Here's what we're going to do.

Add 2 full bags of chocolate chips.
I used the top 2...dark chocolate and mini's...the melts were used later.

These are loaded.  But essentially it is a double batch...so 2 bags is just right!

Step 3: Splits!

Split up the dough into 5 bowls.
Each bowl will make a different variety of chocolate Overlord cookies!
(yes, these aren't just overload cookies...they are Overlord Cookies)

Step 4: Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Roll out balls of dough about the size of a ping pong ball.
We did 15 per tray. Tray is lightly greased...but I don't think it needs it.
Bake 8-10 minutes at 375 F.  I do 8 minutes
Then remove them and allow them at least 5 minutes before touching them!
They need to completely finish cooking...they will be gooey until they cool.

(don't judge my pans...if you know how to clean them up perfectly...
come over and clean them, I will give you cookies!)

Step 5: Fun Time!

Next we add some fun!

Make a tray of regular cookies.  Bake 8 minutes
Pull out of oven and while gooey, place 3 marshmallows on
top with one baking melt chocolate disk for looks!

Then pop them under the BROILER for just a minute or
two until the marshmallows are toasted!

Golden Perfection!

Step 7: Cookies 'n' Cream!

Start with your cookie dough and oreo cookies...
wrap an oreo completely in a "thin" layer of cookie dough, covering it completely!

These turn out quite large!  We fit 8 on one pan.

They bake up perfectly with all that oreo goodness inside!

These were way better and bigger than I expected!

Step 8: Sweet and Salty Goodness!

Take the Chocolate Chip cookie dough and add broken up pretzel sticks to it!
Makes a sweet and salty awesome flavor!
Roll out and bake the same as the regular cookies!

Step 9: TURTLES!!!

Bake a batch of regular cookies, like the smore's ones.
Pull out after 8-10 minutes and lightly press a pecan or two on top.
Then drizzle with caramel topping!
Let cool at least 5 minutes before plating!

Step 10: Service With a Smile!

Then plate up all your gourmet cookies!
Add some little name sticks so your guests know what they are getting into!

Okay, so yes...you did the math right.
15 cookies of each variety except the Cookies 'n Cream...only 8 of them
Grand total: 68 cookies!
Awesome spread for 1 simple batch of cookies!

In a blind taste test...the 8 year old and 10 year old loved the
Cookies and Cream the best!
Followed closely by the Smore's!  :)

Step 11: Enjoy!

Best part about these cookies is they FREEZE!

The dough freezes, the cookies freeze...you don't have to eat them all in one night!  And they taste good frozen!

Now you can have a party spread with only the time spent making a batch of cookies!!!

Thanks for viewing, which one do you think you'd like the most???
