Introduction: .50 Cal Saw Ammo Box Computer.

About: i like to play around with technology, and small engines.

i've got a girlfriend in the army, needed to build a second computer for her to use for college classes, and i felt creative.
my initial idea was basically exactly what i came up with, minus and plus a few changes.
i'll post somewhat of a tutorial on this project if it gains any interest. if you would like to make a case like this let me know!
i'll gladly post a tutorial, or maybe even a video.

image notes were being dumb, there are a few pictures with the mobo on a clear stand, this was just untill i got the case setup and ready, i wanted to test my hardware before i did too much.
i found many of the parts i needed, or didnt need but wanted on   www.frozencpu.com , a damn good resource in my opinion.
case was bought on ebay, i bought two in case i messed one up and wanted to start over.

Specs:

Amd Phenom II x4 840  (3.2 GHZ)
Zotac 890GX-ITX WiFi motherboard (Mini-ITX form factor)
4 Gigs (2 sticks) Crucial Ballistix Tracers, ddr3 1333mhz
Video is onboard, HD4290
7200rpm 6.0 Gb/s 2.5" hard drive, 250gb enterprise level drive. (i know its small! lol)
and to power it all, a somewhat cheap, but very effective, 550watt logisys psu, (it has dual fans! probably the integral "air mover" of the whole case lol)
hope you like it, and if you do let me know! i can post some good tips and instructions!

updated 8/30/2011 added some more pictures of the internals, and how things are arranged inside. per request.  still using my phone camera, so its not much.

UPDATE 3/27/2014:

look out in coming months! its about time for a hardware upgrade, and i might be fixing the format of this instructable and layout out the steps that i took to create this.
