A Simple Metal Ring

I like making little bits of jewelry here and there.  My nephews seem to like them so I have decided to share.
For this you will need (all can be found at Lowe's or some other home improvement store)
Sheet of metal: I used stainless steel sheet 
Solder and flux
Metal shears
Hammer 
A ring Mandrel or a dowel that's about the diameter of your finger 
And a Blow torch of some sorts (mine is just a propane one)
sandpaper
