I REALLY HATE ...

You could put many things in place of '...', but that is not the point of this 'ible.

'...' is shorthand for 'there is more', but you have no way of seeing what that is unless you visit the page. BUT you don't know if you want to visit the page, because of the '...'. ...(that '...' is used properly) Aaarghh...

The Internet has mechanisms to do that for you.

However, web authors/designers are so lazy. Yes I'm talking to you!

You get a title 'The best way to improve se...' so you hover your mouse over the title hoping that it may pop-up a tool-tip with the full title...... and... NOTHING. ...Aaarghh...

Like those in the screen grab above, useless.
