Our Maker Space was lucky enough to get to participate in the Instructables DodoCase event. I was pretty excited about this as I had heard of them, but never gotten my hands on one. After I modded the case to fit my Galaxy Note I thought the next thing the case needed was a strap so I could just look around without holding it to my head. This Instructable is me adding a very simple elastic band to my DodoCase.

Step 1: Gather Your Tools
You will need:
Hole Punch (I used an awl and hammer)
Scissors (not pictured here)
Step 2: Measure Your Elastic
It was hard to get an image of me measuring my head.
Hold the DodoCase up to your face as if you're using it. Place the tape measure end on one side - wrap it around your head and mark where the tape measure meets the other side of the DodoCase.
Step 3: Cut Your Elastic
Measure out the length you just got from the last step - take away an inch or so and cut your elastic to that length. You want to remove a little bit so your strap will be snug against your head.
Step 4: Poke Holes in Your DodoCase
Using a hole punch or awl (like I did) place two holes pretty close together on either side. This will where you 'sew on' the strap to the case.
Step 5: Sew on Your Strap
Using your needle and thread sew on your strap on both sides.
Step 6: Wear Your New DodoCase in Style
You're now hands free - unless you need to click the button :).
Step 7: If You're Really Daring
Wear it as a head band and let your Geek Flag Fly!
