Intro: Airsoft Holster

This is a basic thigh holster for an airsoft gun, it is simple to make, very durable, practical, and cheap.

Step 1: Materials

In order to make this thigh holder you will need
1. An airsoft pistol (dddduuuuuuuhhhh)

2. An adjustable belt (one without the holes, you need the ones for flag football)

3. A knife or a pair of scissors (with a point)

4.  Vinyl basket (most dollar stores sell them for a dollar or two each)

Step 2: Cuts, This Way and That

You will need to cut out the entire bottom of the basket, this way the gun can fit through and it makes the holster ambidextrous. ( you could just cut out one half, but they work the same either way). You will also need to cut two slits about 1 inch apart on the front and back (in the middle area) so the belt can slip through.

Step 3: Slip It in Nice and Gentle Like

First, slip the belt in through the back slits (on the same side as the leg you are going to wear the holster on, you can always change it later.  Then you need to put it on your leg and tie it through, then you will need to slip the extra through the slits on the front.  Any excess belt can be slipped under the rest of the belt.

Step 4: Finish

And so that is what it looks like in the end.

You can also slip an extra mag behind the holster itself.

I don't know if you still care being that this has been so far away, but I had a glitch with my computer that would not allow me to comment on anything but I got this at wal-mart it was originally intended to be put in a locker at a school.

Nothing yet, the problem with those is that the magazine is more frontward, I can work on trying some things out, but inevitably, unless you can make it with a piece on the back that separates and reclips with like a button, velcro, or buckle there is not a way to do it. Well, of course if you are going to just take the mag out it will be much easier and you could just use this.

the problem with that is that it will inevitably slide down your leg because there is nothing holding it up. You need to have it supported on a belt on your waist somehow.

dude, the daisy 240 is horrible. its only 213 fps. try the wg co2 m1911 nbb. its 460-500 fps. Tip: don't buy from wallmart. nice holster idea. not a bad idea.

Lolz, neither can I, since then I got a GBB for my pistol, but i use a DE 3 shot for my side arm (sawed off) I just used that one cuz it is bright and shows up better in the pics.

Thank you for commenting.  The one by Chocowubbles is better than mine for durability, but it is more difficult to make in my opiniont (took a couple hours to modify for some parts).
