Would you like to make an easy and quick cake? Here's one!
Step 1: Ingredients
All you need to prepare this cake is:
150 g of chopped almonds
4 tbs sugar
2 tbs of potato starch
a pinch of baking soda
Step 2: Preparation!
Mash the bananas with a fork. Beat the egg yolks with sugar until they are light and fluffy then add bananas, potato starch, baking soda and chopped almonds. Beat the egg whites until they are firm and gently add them to the mixture. Line a cake tin with baking paper (I used butter and flour) and pour the mixture. Put it in the oven at 180 °c for 20/25 minutes depending on the type of oven used.
If you want, once cooled, decorate with icing sugar.

Step 3: Tip
If you use the whole almonds like me, you should peel them before you chop.
To peel more easily, you should put them in boiling water for a few minutes. Then you have just to press almonds with fingers to remove the skin. (if you have children make them do this work: they will have fun and you will save yourself the hassle of peeling the almonds :) ). Once peeled there's nothing left to do but dry and chop.
