Altoid Project

This miniature wooden box measures nearly 3.25 inches in length and 1 in height. It is made from 3mm Baltic birch plywood and cut with a laser.

To create a design for the box itself, I based it of a design of a wooden car. The frame does not change very much

After I had created my sketch for the box, I user AutoCad 2014 to create my design. Since all of the pieces are flat, it can just be assembled by using glue.

To assemble the box after cutting from the laser, I simply used wood glue to attach the immobile parts.
