These chicken pitas are a quick and healthy dinner. And of course, delicious!!! It's a simple dinner you can prepare in about 20-30 minutes. A family favorite.
1 Bell pepper
Splash of lemon juice
1/2 cup Mayonnaise
1 TBS Lemon juice
1 TBS Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp Basil
1/4 tsp Black pepper
Pinch of garlic powder
Step 1: Cut and Cook
1. Cut bell pepper, onion, and chicken into bite size pieces.
2. Oil pan and add chicken. Season chicken with basil and pepper to taste, and add a splash of lemon juice. Cook til no longer pink.
3. Add bell pepper and onion. Do not over cook. You still want them to be a bit crispy.
4. While meal is cooking, cut lettuce, tomato, and grate cheese for toppings.
Step 2: The Sauce
While the chicken is cooking, mix all sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Mix until mayonnaise is no longer lumpy.
Step 3: Serve
Assemble in pita pocket, drizzle sauce on top and your ready to eat!!
