American Girl Doll Bed

I hope these steps lead to making your doll happy with a new bed!

The pillows above are not included in the steps.

Step 1: Step 1: Dimensions of the Bed

To make your American Girl Doll or 18" Doll a bed you will need to follow the following steps.

~ Cut out three 20" pieces of wood you can use 2x4 pieces of wood like I used or a different type of wood.

~Next the width of the bed should be about 10 1/2" wide.

~For the bottom of the bed to keep all of the pieces together you have to place pieces of wood on the bottom and nail them to the bed.

~If you are interested in the bed sheet you will need to cut out two pieces of fabric and bedding of the same size

1foot and 10 1/2" going the long way then the width of the bed sheet will be exactly 1foot wide.

Step 2: Step 2: the Final Touches

~ I also just covered the top of the bed for extra looks so it does not just look like wood.
