Step 1: Portions of Fruit
- 2 cups of strawberries
- 1 cup of mangos
- 1 banana peeled and sliced
Using frozen fruit saves you about 5 minutes of preparation time, especially in the morning. Also, when using frozen fruit there is no need for ice. However, adding the banana gives your smoothie that fresh healthy taste.
Step 2: Add Almond Milk
- Pour the almond milk to the top of your fruit.
The almond milk can be substituted for a milk of your choosing. How much milk you add can also change how thick your smoothie is. The less milk you add, the more thick it will be.
Step 3: Add Yogurt
- 6 scoops of vanilla yogurt
The yogurt serves as a base for your smoothie.
Step 4: Final Product
- Put the lid on the smoothie before blending, if you don't you may make a mess!
- Blend for about a minute or two until you can't see the fruit anymore.
The final product should be light pink and have a smooth consistency.
Now that you have some basic knowledge on how to make a smoothie, feel free to experiment with other fruit flavors. Just make sure to stay to the same portions.
