Introduction: Apple Strudel

About: Hi! I am Klinong, that is how my loving family calls me, except my brother, he calls me Krinyol, as I have silly curly hair :) I love Instructables for forever now, especially for the contests ha-ha!, but I …

The cheater way! I mean, using store bought frozen puff pastry ;)

Step 1: Ingredients and Method

4 Gala apples (you can use tart apple, green apple, etc, but at No Frills, they have these delicious gala apples which weirdly state as "naturally not perfect apples"), washed and peeled, chopped, cubed, shredded, or just sliced thinly, whichever you wish

1 c raisins, regular or golden, it's up to you

1 c sugar (or brown sugar)

1/2 c almond meal (or unseasoned bread crumbs)

1 box frozen puff pastry, thaw at least 1-2 sheets

1-2 tbsp, melted

Additional almond meal/bread crumbs

1 egg mixed with 1/4 c milk

Preheat oven to 400 F

Mix ingredients set aside

Lay open/roll out 1 sheet of puff pastry, brush with melted butter, sprinkle with almond meal and place some filling on one end

Roll nicely and seam to seal (if your edges werent brushed with melted butter, brush lightly with water so edges will be sealed)

Brush top with egg mixture and bake until golden brown (30-40 mins)

Enjoy :)
