Areias / Sugar Cookies

I’m going to make sugar cookies that I learned how to make in my home country with my family. They are very popular in Portugal but they weren’t really created there. It’s the perfect sweet to add to little tea party. they are field with sugar and sweetness.

Step 1:

step 1. Messer everything and melt the butter in the microwave

Ingredients:

· 150g sugar

· 300g flour

· 180g butter

· more sugar

Step 2:

step 2. Mix everything and it’s better to do it with your hands.

Step 3:

step3. Make little small ball and place them in something

Step 4:

step4. Get a fork and make lines on the little balls with the fork

Step 5:

step5. Put them in the oven for 12 minutes

Step 6:

step6. When taken out of the oven add more sugar on the top and if you want you can even decorate them.
