Introduction: BROTHER DCP-J125 PRINTER AND SCANNER

In this guide you will be shown how to disassemble the Brother DCP-J125 Printer and Scanner.

It's possible to dissasemble it with only one Philips screwdriver.

Step 1: Open Lid and Remove Cover

To remove the cover and the lid you need to remove a few screws and pry a few parts.

Step 2: Remove Screws

Remove all visual screws from the printer housing.

Step 3: Remove Panel With Buttons

Remove screws from the panel and carefully take it apart.

Step 4: Remove Paper Tray

Remove the paper tray.

Step 5: Remove the Cover

This one should be done carefully to prevent damaging the plastic parts.

Step 6: Remove the Motherboard

Carefully remove the wires from the motherboard and unscrew the screws.

Step 7: Disassemble the Paper Feeder

This is the hardest part of the disassemble. You don't have to use force. Remove the screws from the metal parts and then move them to the sides.

Step 8: Disassemble the Metal Housing

Disassemble the metal housing.

Step 9: Carefully Take the Gear System Apart

Take the gear system apart.

Step 10: Disassemble the Ink Pump

Disassemble the ink pump.

Step 11: Disassemble the Print Head

Dissasemble the print head.

Step 12: Disassemble the Cartridges

Be careful not to get ink in your clothes or furniture.

Step 13: Remove All Small Parts

Step 14: Voilá!
