About: In love with traveling, food, floral design, home interiors, and crafting.

Is there something more adorable than a baby girl with a flower headband? I love to dress up my baby and making bows for her little head is one of my favorite hobbies. This headband looks very pretty and you can make it any color to match your baby's outfit.

Step 1: Materials

Wide elastic (this way it will be comfortable for the baby)

Organza ribbon

Candle and lighter

Thread and needle

Step 2: Measure

Cut the ribbon to get 12 pieces of 3.5" each. If you want your flower to be smaller make this pieces smaller or vice versa.

Step 3: Cut

Fold each piece in half horizontally and then in half vertically. Cut the upper part in diagonal to get a V shape on both sides.

Step 4: Burn

Light up your candle and burn the edges of the ribbon.

Step 5: Fold

Fold your ribbon diagonally and bring both sides to the middle. You will have a pointy edge at the bottom.

Step 6: Sew

Put your needle in the pointy edge and repeat the previous step with all the ribbons to introduce them in the same thread.

After you've placed the last ribbon make a stitch in the first one and pull to make a round shape.

Step 7: Headband

Measure the size of your baby's head. Cut the elastic and sew the ends together. Right on top of these stitches sew the ribbon flower.

Your headband's ready now!
