Step 1: Materials
You will need:
- 1'5'' wooden dowl
- 1' plastic dowl (ballon sticks work great)
- assorted rubber bands
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
Take the clothespin and place glue in one groove of the pin. If you are right handed put it on the left side and vice versa. Take the clothespin and place it about 1 inch from the back of the barrel, then let dry.
Cut the plastic pole into different lengths:
- two 1/2 inch poles
- one 3/4 inch pole
- two 4 inch pole
A) Put one of the 1/2'' poles horizontal on the very back of the barrel to use as a place to store more rounds.
B) Put the second 1/2'' pole horizontal in front of the unglued end of the clothespin to keep the tension from pulling the unglued part forward and breaking it.
C) Next place the 3/4'' pole halfway under the front of the barrel to make loading the projectile easier.
D) Then glue the two 4'' poles together at the bottom creating a V shape.
E) Glue both ends to the barrel about 4" from the front. This makes another handgrip to assist in aiming the projectile.
Step 5: Step 4
To load: place one end of the rubber band on the front end of the gun and pulling tight, stretch the rubber band back to be clipped down by the clothespin. Here are some videos of the gun in action.
