Introduction: Banana Bread

Ingredients

2 bananas

1/3 cup melted butter

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 pinch salt

¾ cup sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour

Utensils

4x8 inch loaf pan

Mixing bowl

Measuring cups and spoons

Oven mittens/towel

Stirring spoon, spatula or mixer

Tester (a toothpick, fork or similar object)

Step 1: Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (175 C)

Step 2:

Mash the ripe bananas in the mixing bowl until it is smooth.

Step 3:

Pour the melted butter in the mixing bowl and mix it with the bananas.

Step 4: Butter the Pan

Add a pinch of salt and 1 tsp of baking soda into the mixture and mix it well.

Step 5:

Slowly add sugar, beaten egg and vanilla extract to the bowl and start mixing it.

Step 6: Stare at the Baking Bread

Add 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour in the bowl and mix all the ingredient together.

(If you are mixing it in a mixer, mix it until it looks smooth and you do not see any lumps of flour in it)

You can add walnut and mix it well. (optional)

Step 7:

Butter a 4x8 inch loaf pan

Step 8:

Pour the mixture in the prepared loaf pan and bake it for 50 minutes to an hour at 350 F.

Step 9:

When it reaches 50 minutes, put the tester in the center of the mixture and see it comes out clean. If it does the bread is baked if it is not try again in 5minutes and so on.

Step 10: Ready to Eat.

Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for few minutes.

Step 11:

Remove the bread from the pan and let it completely cool down.
