Minecraft is a sandbox video game created and designed by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, and later fully developed and published by Mojang. Multiple gameplay modes are available for Minecraft, including a survival mode, the default mode of Minecraft, where the player must acquire resources to build the world and maintain health, a creative mode where players have unlimited resources to build with and the ability to fly, an adventure mode where players can play custom maps created by other players, and a spectator mode where players can freely move throughout a world without being affected by gravity or collisions.
As for the controls, it may be different from other games but you could easily change them in the settings according to your comfort, as for the default were:
Spacebar: Jump. When swimming, keeps the player afloat.
Left Shift: Sneak.
Left Control: Start sprinting.
A: Strafe Left.
D: Strafe Right.
S: Walk Backwards, move backward.
W: Walk Forwards, move forward. When double-tapped, causes the player to sprint (unless in water or the character is too hungry).
E: Opens your inventory.
Right Click: Use items / Place blocks.
Left Click: Punch / Destroy blocks.
For beginners, they would find it is hard during their first nights as they have no idea what to do and would get bored before decided to delete Minecraft. However, via my project those who apply my tips that i would list down in this project would later found it is fun to play Minecraft.Without further ado, these are some of my tips to survive in this game.

Step 1: Get Resources: Getting Woods
Woods are like basic blocks for building homes and crafting. They are easily gained by punching the tree (hold left -click) until it breaks and look like its floating. To gain wood faster, you can use axe by crafting them on crafting table that i would teach about in further steps. There are various types of woods such as the most popular one, oak wood and the others like acacia, spruce, dark oak, birch and jungle.Different types of wood shows different tone of wood colour. You should use them wisely to make sure your building looks great.
Step 2: Gain Resources: Getting Food
Food can be gain from fishing, killing animals, breaking leaves and farming .Through animals, you would get the meat of the animals you kill for example when you kill chicken you get chicken and when you kill cow you'll get meat.Eating raw meat would give u side effects. To cook it, use a furnace and wait for some time until it's done.As for trees, you would luckily gain apple by breaking the leaves. When fishing, there's some fish that is poisonous and not.Such as the pufferfish which is harmful to eat.To start farming, you must gain seeds by easily break grasses or gain carrots and potatoes by killing zombies. If you lucky, you could also come across randomly-spawned pumpkins.
Step 3: Gain Resources: Crafting
Crafting is important in Minecraft(the name tells it, right?).A lot of things can be craft using items that you gain from mobs, trees, NPCs, e.t.c.The basic thing about crafting is crafting a crafting table. You could simply craft it by putting 4 woods in the crafting slots in your inventory. Then, using the crafting table, you can craft a lot of things by putting the items required to craft something according to it's recipes. You can simply visit http://www.minecraft-crafting.net/ to see the recipes. You may want to craft bed on your first night. You can simply craft it by putting wool in all of the middle slots an putting woods in all of the bottom crafting slots. This is important as you wouldn't want to stay up with mobs hunting you.By using bed, you could skip the night time and wake up instantly on day time but keep in mind that you cant use bed when there are mobs near you.So, find a safe spot to enjoy your dreams.
Step 4: Gain Resources: Mining
Mining is also important in this blocky game, Minecraft. To mine, pickaxe is very important as you could only punch tree and dirt with your bare hands.Through mining, you could gain iron, gold, diamond, emeralds e.t.c to craft armour or swords.Diamonds is the most valuable to most mine-crafters, it can craft the best weapon, tools, and armours. There are some mined items that you need to smelt from ore using the furnace. You can craft furnace by putting cobblestones on each sides of the crafting slots and leave the middle slot empty. To use furnace, you have to use wood or coal as fuel to smelt or cook food.
