Intro: Best Crockpot Chili!

This is my recipe for what my family and friends say is the best chili they have ever had!

Easy to make.

Very hardy.

Garnish with shredded cheddar and or sour cream if you like.

Buttered Italian bread is what I like to have with it.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Thank you...

Step 1: Ingredients

5 cans of beans. (Pinto, Black, Cannellini, Pink, and Kidney.)

1 lb Lean Ground Beef

1 chopped large whole Onion

1 each chopped Yellow, Orange and Red Peppers

2 Tbsp of Minced Garlic

3 Tbsp Chili Powder

1 Tbsp Freash Ground Black Pepper

1 Tbsp Galic Powder

1 Tbsp Celary salt

1 Tbsp Thyme

2 tsp Sea Salt

1 tsp Paprika

Step 2: Add to Crockpot

Add all Beans with the liquid to the Crockpot.

Add all spices (Not minced garlic) to the pot.

Mix and turn Crockpot on low.

Step 3: Browning

On medium heat, Sweat and brown Onions with minced garlic and a little olive oil in large frying pan.

Use a cover to help steam them as the cook.

(I use glass covers to see inside and not lift the lid to lose heat and steam from pan while cooking. )

When the onions look translucent add the peppers, cover.

Brown ground beef in separate pan, drain, add to onion mixture.

Step 4: Sautee

Add ground beef to onion mixture and sautee for 5 minutes, mix well to incorporate all together.

Step 5: Add Beef Onion Mix to Pot

Add onion and beef mixture to Crockpot and mix well.

Cover, slow cook for 6 to 8 hours on low or 4 to 6 hours on high.

Mix every couple hours. (Mix every hour if cooking on high)

Taste and add more spices if needed after cooking for couple hours

as the cooking process will bring out the flavor of the spices in the mix.

This is a mild chili with a great taste and flavor!

Very hardy and did not last long!

Im sorry bruh, but this looks bland AF!! Hows about lopping a can or 2 of rotell or diced tomatoes in there.

Well myself and those who have had this will say otherwise.

This is a great chili that did not last 2 days! All Gone!

Spicy HOT chili is NOT what makes a good hearty chili.

I do like a Hot Spicy chili but my wife and friends do not so I add some Sriracha, banana peppers or Reds hot sauce to my bowl.

But I can assure you adding hot peppers or Rot-ell would spice things up and only add the boldness of this recipe.

    Thank You
