Step 1: Stuff You Need
Blackberries (buy em fresh and freeze em!)
Some way to measure out alcohol (a shot glass will work, most of them are 3/4-1 oz
A large spoon or muddler.
Step 2: Blackberries!
Put the ice and blackberries (3-4 berries per glass) in a cup. Grab your masher and mash! Chucks are ok, just crush the berries a couple times.
If your blackberries are frozen they'll be a bit harder to crush, but they'll keep the drink colder-your choice!
Step 3: Liquids
I was making small-ish cocktails to share-use good ingredients and these servings would work for bar sizing.
3oz ginger ale
3/4 to 1 oz bourbon
Pour em in!
Step 4: Enjoy
Swirl the cup a couple times to mix everything, then drink! Great for chilling around, not too strong, a great summer drink.
