hello helloo book lovers !
Recently I reorganized my shelf and came up with this decor idea.Hope you enjoy :)
Teachers! Did you use this instructable in your classroom?
Add a Teacher Note to share how you incorporated it into your lesson.
Step 1: Materials
-Clay(I used air dry but it's optional)
-black paint (acrylic or gouache)
-a piture of your choice
(I'm using a watercolor piece that I made)
Step 2: Shaping the Clay
Take a small piece of clay and flatten it out on the surface. Then take your bead and press it on the clay.Take it with a needle.
Step 3: Making the Moon Shape
press the ring in the clay(place it slightly to the left).
Then press the ring again and create a moon shape.
Clean off the edges with the neddle.
And add a little hole with the needle.
Step 4: Painting
Okay this step can be a little tricky so it may take a few tries.Use a flat brush and paint really lightly so that you only paint the surface. If there is paint all over the moon you can just leave it like that it still looks good or you can clean it with a toothpick.
Step 5: Hanging
Using the needle put the thread through the little hole in the moon and tie it.Repeat for the picture too.Okay so getting the moon look straight was kind of demanding but you can do it!
Just pull the thread all the way up and slowly pull the moon while making sure it is straight. When you are happy with the length tape it on the back.
Step 6: Done!
I just taped it to my bookshelf but you can use it however you want!
I went with the blue theme if you try something new please send me pictures!!
well hope you enjoyed byee ^^
