Ingredients
  • 12 oz Whole Milk (or milk substitute)
  • 4 1/2 oz Dark Chocolate, chopped (reserve the 1/2 oz for garnish)
  • 4 oz Frangelico (hazelnut liquor)
  • 1 oz Bourbon
  • 4 oz Freshly whipped cream (dairy or coconut)
  • 2 oz Irish Cream
  • 2 Hazelnuts
Makes 2 servings

Directions
Whipped cream
  1. Use a mixer or whisk to incorporate the Irish cream into whipped cream
  2. Set prepared whipped cream in the refrigerator until ready to serve
Make Hot Chocolate
  1. Pour milk into saucepan and scald
  2. Bring heat down to medium
  3. Add chopped chocolate and whisk
  4. When chocolate is almost entirely melted, turn heat to low
  5. Whisk in Frangelico and bourbon and turn off heat

Serve
Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream, chocolate, a hazelnut and serve immediately.
