Step 1: Materials
What you will need to break in your baseball glove is:
Your new baseball glove
"Hot glove" glove treatment
An oven of any kind
Step 2: Apply the Glove Treatment
After you have your materials, apply the glove treatment on the outer part of the glove, pretty much covering it.
Now with your hands, begin to rub the cream into the leather, making sure you get into the leather to where you don't see anymore cream.
Step 3: Baking the Glove
Next, make sure that you have fully applied the glove treatment to your glove, and set your oven to 300 degrees.
After that, set your glove in the oven on top of a baking sheet, and bake it for no more than 4 minutes.
Step 4: Breaking the Glove In
Next, take your baseball glove out of the oven, put it on, and begin to squeeze the glove how you would if you were to catch a baseball. Repeat this over and over, making sure that you really fit it to your catching style. You may have to repeat the process of baking the glove to the leather softer.
