This model of the front of a Lego house is quick and easy to do. Your kids will be enjoying what you've built in no time.

Materials needed:

1: 16x16 peg green base piece
7: 2x4 peg blue pieces
1: 2x4 peg door piece
1: 2x8 peg blue piece
8: 2x2 peg blue pieces
1: 2x4 peg red window piece
1: 2x3 peg blue piece
1: 1x1 peg blue piece

Step 1: Step 1: Base

You will use your 16x16 peg green piece as a base to build off of.

Step 2: Step 2: First Wall Piece

For this step you will begin by placing your 2x8 peg blue piece about halfway back on your green base with one of the 2 peg ends touching the side. You will make this 3 pieces high by adding 2 of your 2x6 peg blue pieces and 2 of your 2x2 peg blue pieces.

Step 3: Step 3: the Window

For this step you will need your 2x4 peg red window piece. You will place this piece directly in the middle of the blue wall you have began to make leaving space for a 2x2 peg block on each side.

Step 4: Step 4: Building Around Your Window

For this step you will need 6 of your 2x2 peg blue pieces. Make 2 stacks of 2x2 peg blue pieces so that they are each three pieces high. Place these on the open 2x2 peg spaces on each side of your red window so that they are even in height.

Step 5: Step 5: the Door

For this step you will need your 2x4 peg yellow and black door piece along with a 2x4 peg blue piece. Place the 2x4 peg door piece along the line with the rest of the pieces that you have in place so that it continues to make a straight line across the green base. Place your 2x4 peg blue piece on top of the door to even the height with the rest of your wall.

Step 6: Step 6: Final Step

For this step you will need 5 2x4 peg blue pieces along with a 2x3 peg blue piece and a 1x1 peg blue piece. Stack all five 2x4 peg blue pieces on top of each other evenly and place them evenly with the rest of your wall on the green base so that it finishes the straight line across the board. Stack your 2x3 peg blue piece and your 1x1 peg blue piece on top of your stack of 5 2x4 pieces so that it is even in height with the rest of your project.
