Step 1: Prepare a Greyscale Image
Get the greyscale image from the net or create your own greyscale image by 3D software.
Greyscale image is not really a black and white photo.
It is in fact a file records the X, Y and Z values of an object.
The cutting depth depends on the brightness of the image.
Step 2: Compress the Height of the Image to About 77% of Original
The aim is to compensate the image distortion from flat surface to curve surface.
Step 3: Prepae the G-codes From the Image
Use ArtCam, Mach3 or else.
Step 4: Do the Egg Shell Engraving by a CNC Egg Shell Engraving Machine
The maximum depth of engraving is 0.35mm.
The thickness of the goose egg shell is about 0.55mm.
