Construct sides. I'm not providing specific measurements because I made mine to fit a specific area. Build yours for your area.
Step 3: Construct Cabinet Body
I added plywood into the pine frames. This is a garage paint cabinet, so I didn't use expenses wood, but I still wanted it to look nice.
Step 4: Top
I used 3/4 inch plywood for the top. I screwed the top. From inside the cabinet. I also sanded down the edges to give the cabinet softer edges.
Step 5: Butt Hinges
Measure desired area for butt hinge. I cut a scrap piece of wood about 3-5 inches long and used it to measure the hinge placement from the top and bottom and each side.
Mark areas and route out the area. Used a chisel for the corners.
Step 6: Stain
I added 2 coats of stain. Let it dry for 24 hours.
Step 7: Polyurethane
I brushed on 2 coats of polyurethane. I sanded lightly between coats.
Step 8: Filled and Done!!!
