Introduction: Camera Dolly for Multiple Shots Cheap!


I have been Healing from a knee injury Looking for things
to do to pass time. I have a few different digital cameras
and have been tinkering with stop motion, On the Cheap
I wanted to use the cameras shooting multiple angles.

I built a prototype out of bamboo skewer reinforced cardboard ( Thanks, Great Idea!)

This requires a drill, I am Held Harmless to any injury,catasrophe,camera damage
from this instructable .

Step 1: Camera Dolly Build List

Parts: QTY

HDPE plastic (Dollar store cutting board) 1

1/4 20 Fasteners (bolts- washers-nuts) As Needed

small caster wheels ( Scrounged up) 4

optional: Dolly "Trolley" Drive

1/4 Line As Needed

small blocks/ pulleys 2-4


Step 2: Camera/Tools

Cameras Used:

Vu-Point 5.0 MP Camera, 3-Years old a bit dodgey
Drugstore
Snap And Share,Red 20.00
Drugstore
Samsung FlashCam
Worst Buy at Best Buy
Techs said it would work, Fail! now I am stuck with it
Logitech Quick Came Plushttp:
works with My capture software, Finally figured out how to focus it LOL!

Tools,

Drill ( Clamp your work!!), Pen,rulers, tapemeasure/ I use A step Bit.

Step 3:

Drill Holes as needed in any pattern. I made an X-pattern

Step 4:

Dolly Trolley Drive


I set up a loop between Blocks/pulleys and form a closed path

Set up Cameras and set and shoot. I will be Cleaning up this instructable and adding some
Footage soon.
