Introduction: Can-tainer

About: I like making/taking stuff apart (and I like knowing how stuff works) My name is Douglas. I will be posting instructions to some of the stuff I make.

This simple can container takes less than a minute to make and is really cheap! I use mine for storing chemical and or doing chemical reactions.

Step 1: Tools Needed

Can opener
Possibly sand paper

Step 2: Step One

Place can opener on the rim of the can with the cutting edge in the inner rim and twist the can opener

Step 3: Sand Rim (If Necessary)

Sand the rim if it's sharp. I have cut my hand before from the rim and it's no fun.

Step 4: Lid (Optional)

Using a lid from a large used medicine bottle, use tape to enlarge the diameter of the lid. Fit the lid so it is to big to fall in or be pushed in but just large enough so it dose not come off.
